Tyler Jones
Tyler Jones is a passionate advocate for workers’ rights, environmental protection, and federal policies that benefit the working class.
Currently a courier and a member of Teamsters Local 931, Tyler is proud to push for fair wages and safe working conditions for his fellow union members – and would be honoured to continue fighting for workers as the representative for Beauharnois—Salaberry—Soulanges—Huntingdon.
Tyler’s political passion didn’t only begin when he joined a union, however. While pursuing his degree in Social Studies from Champlain College, Tyler was also a part of Jeunes Democrates, a French political tournament held in Quebec City. Despite being the only anglophone in the tournament, he later became a coach for the event.
In his free time, Tyler can be found enjoying the beautiful Chateauguay Valley and spending quality time with his wife and his dog, Riggins.
Tyler is committed to building a government that puts people first. He is ready to do his part to fight for affordable homes, fair wages for workers, climate action, and better health care. Let’s fight for people, together.
